Life Changers is a combination of a large group worship experience and smaller support groups with the focus on overcoming life-controlling problems. Cape Christian believes that people who want to overcome life-controlling problems should be able to do so.

God is a God of new beginnings.
He offers all of us countless opportunities for change, for growth.  But change is hard, and real life change challenges us beyond our capabilities.

God often allow us to wrestle with life-controlling problems (LCP) like:

  • Deep emotional hurt
  • Addictions
  • Dysfunctional patterns in relationships
  • Spiritual failures and confusion
  • Habits we can't stop or ones we can't start

At Cape Christian we recognize the need to provide those with life-controlling problems the opportunity to be both free from their control and to come under the control of the Holy Spirit.
Life Changers desires to create an environment for the Holy Spirit to minister life change. If seasons change, why can't I?


Life Changers Worship Experience:

  • Worship with life change themes: accpetance, surrender, powerlessness, courage, faith, wisdom, prayer, serving, forgiveness, amking amends.
  • Bible teachings with these life change themes
  • Testimonies of Life Changers
  • Opportunites to respond: prayer & healing, communion

Expectations for those attending LC:

  • To feel safe, accepted and yet challenged to expect change
  • To respect the rules of confidentiality and anonymity
  • To grasp the purpose=experience life change
  • to respond with active involvement: worship, prayer, testimonies, fellowship

The Life Changers Program ends Life Controlling Problems!

God's power and not mine is what is going to change my life.  God doesn't intend that the same mind that created the life-controlling problem and that struggle with it is the same mind that is able to be responsible for overcoming it.

At best we can solve life-controlling problems at the physical and psychological levels, but only the Spirit of God can free our spirit from them.  Apart from the Holy Spirit we cannot do anything spiritual.  Life Changers believes that God wants to both comfort us and use us as comforters.

Life Changers meets on Tuesdays from 7-8:30Pm in the Multi-Purpose Room (double doors located by the circular driveway)
LIFE CHANGERS IS FREE and as is the  childcare for ages 3-11 (in D1) from 6:45 to 8:45
NOTE: Beginning February 2 every other week through May 25 the Life Changers groups invite you to a DVD led Life Group teaching.

We have a Men's Group and a Women's group which meet in D4 & D3. Sorry, no child care is available for these meetings.
