I want to learn more about Christianity and the claims of Jesus:

There is one major difference between Christianity and every other world religion and it may surprise you.  Most religions emphasize some form of karma as their organizing principle.  The law of karma states that you will get out of the world what you put into the world.  Jesus’ life and message was very different, centered on grace rather than karma.  He opened the door for us to reconcile with God and receive all that we need to live a fulfilling life.  How?

If you’re interested in exploring Jesus’ claims in more depth our Alpha program provides a warm and comfortable setting where you can ask questions, discuss, and learn.

Alpha:

Who is Alpha for?
- Newcomers to the Christian faith
- Those who would like to better understand the foundational teachings of Christianity

What is Alpha?
- Alpha is an introduction to the basics of the Christian faith.  The course provides a comfortable environment for people from all walks of life to learn about and discuss foundational issues of the Christian faith.  Our goal is for each person who attends to hear and understand the basic biblical message concerning the Gospel. 

Our Alpha program runs 6 weeks and covers such topics as, “who is Jesus and why did he die?”, “how do you read the bible and pray?”, “where can I find guidance?”, “Who is the Holy Spirit?”, and “how can I resist evil?”

The Connect Luncheon is a monthly gathering where you can meet pastors and learn more about the values and direction of CCF.  It is held on the first Sunday of each month at 12:15 p.m. The lunch is free and childcare is provided. Living interconnected lives in a way that fosters spiritual progress is vitally important for everyone who desires to follow Christ. And since the kind of life-connections we need normally don’t happen casually, we need to be intentional about creating an environment where we can do life together in a meaningful way.
