For Community:

Cape Christian been a beacon of hope for the community since the beginning. Our Cafe is open to the public and has provided a wonderful meeting place for people to connect as they enjoy a good cup of coffee. Our park is open to the public seven days a week, from sunrise to sundown.  Our Annual Christmas Village has seen thousands of people come from all over to get a picture with Santa Clause, have Mrs. Clause read their kids a story, take a hayride together, try their skill on an Ice Skating Rink and  so much more. Whether it is eating S’mores around a fire or riding a train together around the campus, people are capturing precious time and creating Christmas memories with their loved ones on our campus. 

We believe everyone matters. We accept people where they are, how they are and encourage them to become who God has created them to be. We have been a sanctuary for the single dad grappling with a broken marriage and a place of encouragement for teenagers navigating the complexities of becoming adults in an ever changing world. We are community for the young family who comes to play in our park but found support for their marriage with it. We’ve been a church for the man who saw us serve our city, realized that there was somewhere he could belong and make a difference.

Every year we host Serve Day Weekend, sending out thousands of people out into the community to clean parks, paint schools, clear debris, repair homes for disable veterans and more. We have cleaned tombstones, build new enclosures for rescued animals and landscaped yards for those who are helping women in vulnerable situations. With over 100 projects done with 48 hours, we do more than just talk about community engagement, we do it.

For Families:

At Cape Christian, we believe that family bonds are strengthened through shared experiences. Our campus offers a variety of amenities to cater to everyone in the family, creating priceless memories along the way. The laughter of children resonates around the splash pad, a welcome retreat from the warm sun, where families can cool off while fostering a sense of adventure and fun in their youngsters. The basketball courts are a hive of activity, as families engage in friendly games, teaching important values of teamwork and sportsmanship. Birthday parties at Cape Christian are truly special, with our playgrounds becoming a backdrop for joy, laughter, and the formation of lifelong friendships. Whether it’s a simple picnic, a game of basketball, or a special birthday celebration, Cape Christian is committed to being a cornerstone for family growth and unity. We strive to create an environment of family and genuine relationships with others in order to experience the love of God together.
